just saying..

our anniversary and new year’s get away 12-30-09 to 01-02-10…yah, i’m late with these but hell who cares!!!  this was our get away that we had to cut short because the generator burnt down to the ground and we had no power the 2nd night we were there.  so, yes, we did what we could:  warmed our soup in its can over the fire and drank our vodka to keep us warm, with the help of our fireplace - thank god we found the wood locker in the dark, scary ass parking garage!!!  anyhoo..we at least got to board and spend very much needed alone time - so it wasn’t really a waste especially since 2 of the 3 nights were reimbursed !!
