BAT BOY - The Musical - November 21, 2009 - El Camino High School, SSF, CA
Nico Alexander Formalejo, the LEAD STAR, was utterly fantabulous!!! I am SO PROUD of this boy, he just simply amazes me. He is a triple threat, no doubt!! Acting, singing, dancing just comes naturally for him! The town was Hope Falls, West Virginia, a baby boy that was conceived, the mother was doused with pheromones (by accident) and was attacked by bats, the father was suppose to kill the baby but instead left it in a cave where the bats took him down below and cared for him. There were some serious scenes and many funny scenes as well. One of my favorite lines… OH MY SWEET WOUNDED JESUS!.. I wish everyone could’ve seen this play or just see Nico perform. This is the last musical he’ll perform in at El Camino, I’m looking forward to his next regular play. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this boy’s name in BIG LIGHTS on freakin’ Broadway as well as on the BIG SCREEN!! GO NICO GO NICO GO GO!!
