…so, your name is cherie, pronounced “sherry”…which is how i’ve known you as since i first met you back in junior high school…and now, after all these years, you now pronounce it as “sha-ree”..what the?  really?

i don’t get it.  because what, you’re older so your name changes with age as well? or is it because you’re high class now and well, if you got it, flaunt it? i guess so, huh? LOL.. ok.

really, i don’t totally find that as “annoying” but sort of now stereotype you as, you know, a snob!  well, c’mon doesn’t it sound like that’s how you portray yourself, nose in the air, stuck up..? i mean if you got the “means” go ahead, flaunt your shit, throw them bills around, but really changing name so the pronunciation is different from how you were known growing up, that’s not flaunting it, that’s fake.

retail therapy!!

where was your mind at?! silly wabbits!!!

my man is out in Vegas with his brother and cousin celebrating his brother’s day of birth..the BIG 4-0 this weekend - happy birthday to him, HAPPY WEEKEND to me!  

i went to a mall i don’t always go to because it’s an outside mall…i actually liked that because one, i haven’t been there in a while and two, i got fresh air every time i left one store and walked to another one…i was on a mission to find an item that i have been looking for for awhile.  funny thing is i ended up getting a couple of things that i didn’t need but got it because you know how that goes, you see it, you like it, and if you don’t buy it now, it’ll be gone the next time you come back!!!  LOL!!  sucky part is, i did not find the one item i was totally searching for..oh well that’s typical!

i enjoyed my retail therapy today!  it was my ME TIME..something i haven’t had in a while and something i intend on having more of!

it’s FRIDAY…thank goodness!

and i like it best because I get to have a husband free weekend!!  heehee!

and i know he’s just as happy because he gets to be wife free, however, he better be a good boy or he will be wife free!!

Adhesive Capsulitis

I did a follow up with my Orthopedic doctor yesterday afternoon.  Little did I know the son of a bitch was going to tug and pull on my shoulder like there was no tomorrow.  He made me CRY!!!  I know he had to do what he had to do but damn with such force was uncalled for!!!  Yah yah, I’m a big BABY!!  I guess my threshold for pain has somewhat diminished over the years…

Sadly, I now have Adhesive Capsulitis..also known as FROZEN SHOULDER.  OUCH!!!!  And even more sadly is I now need to get a SHOT in my shoulder to prevent it from getting any worse than it already is.  This SUCKS!  Luckily (if that really matters), it’s only “secondary” because if this was “primary” I would be in more pain and it would take more than a year to heal!!  So, ok maybe it is luck then..yah, luck that I injured myself in order to get secondary adhesive capsulitis…more like stupidness on my part for getting injured in the first place.  UGH!!! 

Thankfully my physical therapist has been helping me…teaching me how to stretch it, to move it in the right way, to not move it so hard and fast where it’ll cause more pain than needed.  He called it though; he told me my shoulder was too stiff and he wouldn’t be surprised if it ended up frozen.  And he did say the shot will help so go for it and hopefully my movements can be more fluid.

Maybe I should have seen Jon, my Physical Therapist, sooner than when I did..Maybe that would have helped prevent my shoulder from becoming frozen…maybe the doctor’s office should have scheduled my appointment sooner than when they did….just saying!
